Private 8402, 2nd Battalion, Alexandra Princess of Wales's Own (Yorkshire Regiment). Killed in action 8th July 1916 aged 26.
Enlisted at Scarborough, born in Dewsbury, resident of Bradford. No known grave.
Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Pier and Face 3 A and 3 D.
